"Season thoughts">by Rocket Robin written November 16, 1997.
Well 28 games, 14 home games, play each of the 11 other teams in their conference once home and away plus an extra home and away series with Montreal, Rochester and Worcester.
The Lynx start with their first four games on the road. During the cold days of April and beginning of May the team was away from home. Seemed like a smart move.
They had a run of six home games of consecutive Sundays to finish the season.
The Monday and Tuesday games were holidays in Canada.
Ticket prices are $16.00 for central reserve seating and $12.00 for general admission. Seniors and children have their tickets 50% discounted.
Season tickets are $135.00 which also includes special 'Meet the team' sessions and post game parties.
Seating around Varsity Stadium is like the letter 'U' with the opening in the North endzone. The team plans to use the west stand which will mean the late afternoon sun will be behind the spectators. The General Admission seating will be from the goal crease to football endzone but noone will actually be parallel to the back of the net.
