September 16, 2018 USL Toronto FC II--FC Cincinnati vs Toronto FC II game review (from torontofc.ca)
Match Recap: Toronto FC II at FC Cincinnati September 16, 2018 7:18PM EDT Adam Krueger TFC II was unlucky to walk away empty-handed after a gutsy road performance which saw Tsubasa Endoh record the first hat-trick in TFC II history against top-ranked FC Cincinnati. Endoh opened the scoring on the afternoon with a 30-yard screamer into the upper right corner. The strike was Endoh’s third goal in as many matches. However, Cincy battled back and in the 31st minute, Forrest Lasso headed home a ball from Emmanuel Ledesma off a set piece. The assist was Ledesma’s 13th setting a new USL single-season record. The hosts took the lead just before the break as big money acquisition Fanendo Adi’s solo effort found it’s way past Caleb Patterson-Sewell. However, deep into first-half stoppage time, Endoh struck again from distance, this time with a low bouncing shot to even it at two into the halftime break. Endoh completed his hat-trick in spectacular fashion curling home a ball from outside the 18. The lead was short lived as Corben Bone found some space behind the TFC II backline and slotted home the equalizer. Bone hit once again in the 88th minute as he broke away from his defender to head home the winner. The match saw the debut of TFC Academy product Jordan Perruzza. The 17-year-old came on as a second-half substitute for Shaan Hundal. TFC II return to action next weekend as they travel to Bethlehem to take on Steel FC. Kickoff is set for 3:00 PM and as always you can catch all the action right here on TFC2.ca.
