Match Preview: Toronto FC II at New York Red Bulls II September 11, 2018 11:08AM EDT Adam Krueger Who: Toronto FC II (3-20-3) at New York Red Bulls II (10-8-10) When: Thursday, September 13, 2018. 7:00 PM. Where: MSU Soccer Park, Montclair, New Jersey. Tune in: TFC2.ca Toronto FC II hits the road for a two-game trip to New York and Cincinnati. TFC II opens up the trip with a matchup against NYRB II on Thursday Night. The Reds come into the game following a wild 4-3 match at Lamport Stadium against Ottawa Fury FC. TFC II scored three second-half goals to overcome an early deficit but Ottawa scored late to take the three points. The Red Bulls come in off a 3-0 loss at the hands of Indy Eleven. Overall NYRB II has struggled of late, picking up just one win in their last five. NYRB II sits just two points clear of the playoff line in the Eastern Conference. This will be the third and final meeting between the two sides. It is the first meeting since late April when they played to a 0-0 draw at BMO Field. Earlier, NYRB II was victorious 2-1 in the season opener back in March. Two players the Young Reds will look to key in are Amando Moreno and Andrew Tinari. Moreno leads the team in scoring with nine goals and has added three assists. Moreno has accomplished that in just 14 starts. Tinari has been the first name on the team sheet all season, leading the team with 27 appearances. He’s chipped in with seven goals and three assists.
