Preview: Toronto FC II vs. Ottawa Fury FC September 5, 2018 9:33AM EDT Adam Krueger The Battle of Ontario makes its way to Lamport Stadium as Toronto FC II battles Ottawa Fury FC on Thursday night. TFC II comes into their second game at Lamport in less than a week coming in off a 2-1 defeat to Atlanta United 2. Matt Srbely scored late but it wasn’t enough as the Reds were handed the defeat. Ottawa currently sits three points outside the final playoff spot in the east. Ottawa has lost three straight matches coming into Thursday. The Fury haven’t scored a goal in four matches. The two sides last met in late May in Ottawa. The Fury walked away with a 3-0 victory on the day. Two players to watch for from the Fury are Steevan Dos Santos and Michael Petrasso. Dos Santos leads the club in both goals (4) and assists (4). The Cape Verde native is in his second season in Ottawa. Petrasso was just loaned to Ottawa from the Montreal Impact where the full back had made 14 appearances. The older brother of TFC II’s Luca has made nine appearances for the Canadian National Team since 2016.
