Indianapolis – Toronto FC II came out on the wrong end of a five-goal thriller as the Young Reds fell 3-2
to Indy Eleven at a cavernous Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Reds came out early controlling the play and creating a handful of chances. However, the hosts hit
against the run of play as Ben Speas was played in behind the Reds’ backline and he slotted it home
one-on-one with Caleb Patterson-Sewell.

Indy doubled their lead as a loose ball in the box found its way to Jack McInerney as he fired home
his 7th goal of the season.

Quickly, the Young Reds pulled one back as Tsubasa Endoh rocketed home a Sebastian Giovinco-esque free kick.
It was Endoh’s first goal this season on his return to TFC II.

Just five minutes later, Jordan Hamilton fired home a ball from 30-yards out. The forward’s fourth goal
in just six matches knotted the game at twos.

The Reds continued to control the run of play into the halftime break.

Indy regained the lead just out of the break as on his return to Indianapolis Dylan Mares curled a right
footed shot past Patterson-Sewell.

Patterson-Sewell made a great stop in extra time to keep the Reds within one but a final push was not enough
as Indy took all three points on the night.

Toronto FC II are back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Louisville to take on the reigning champs.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.
