Toronto FC II picked up their second win in three games with a convincing 1-0 victory over the Richmond Kickers
on Sunday night.

The Young Reds came out with energy early forcing challenging saves from Richmond keeper Trevor Spangenberg.
Liam Fraser and Tsubasa Endoh both had great attempts at goal denied by Spangenburg.

Richmond hit back with a couple chances of their own midway through the half but Caleb Patterson-Sewell and the TFC II
backline held strong to keep it scoreless into the break.

Right off the restart the Reds controlled the run of play and were rewarded for their efforts with Liam Fraser
finding Jordan Hamilton with an adept over the top ball. The forward in one-on-one with Spangenburg made no mistake
as he blasted home his third goal in the USL this season.

Matt Srbely had a chance to double the Reds lead but was twice denied point blank by Spangenburg.

Tim Kubel made a tremendous last-ditch effort to clear a ball that had gotten past Patterson-Sewell to keep the visitors
off the board and hold on for the victory.

Toronto FC II are back in action next Thursday as they travel to Rochester to take on Bethlehem Steel FC. Kickoff
is set for 7:00 PM at Marina Auto Stadium.
