To get you set here is everything you need to know about the Rowdies. 2018 Season The Rowdies have not had the season they would have hoped for this year. They currently sit on the outside of the playoff picture with a 4-5-1 record. They made a coaching change midway through the year letting go of longtime coach Stuart Campbell in favour of Neill Collins, who was a player for the Rowdies at the time of appointment. In the one game with Collins, the team played to a 2-2 draw at home against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Key Players You cannot talk about the Rowdies without mentioning their three biggest names: Joe Cole, Georgi Hristov, and Marcel Schafer. Cole, the former England International is in his third season with the Rowdies. The past Chelsea and Liverpool attacking midfielder has three goals and one assist on the year for the Rowdies. Hristov has been with the Rowdies since 2013 and has 53 goals over 148 matches with Tampa. Hristov has scored four goals this year in 10 starts. Schafer is in his second season with the Rowdies after joining from Bundesliga side VFL Wolfsburg. The former German international has recorded one assist and 33 key passes so far this season.
