Toronto FC II fell to 1-0 to Penn FC at Monarch Park in Toronto’s east end. 4100 were in attendance,
a Toronto FC II record.

The Reds came out with a lot of energy early with Malik Johnson getting a great opportunity to open
the scoring just two minutes in, but his finish let him down and his shot went over the goal.

Toronto FC II was sent down to 10 men after Shaan Hundal went hard into a 50/50 aerial challenge
and was shown a Red card.

A short-handed TFC II side did well in the second half withstanding the relentless pressure from Penn FC.

Keeper Angelo Cavalluzzo came up with a great penalty kick save diving to his left to keep
the game scoreless.

However, Penn FC found the opener as Miguel Jaime sent in what looked to be a cross that just flew over
Cavalluzzo and into the back of the net. The Reds keeper looked to have hurt his leg on the play
and was taken off on a stretcher.

Defender Tim Kubel went in goal for the final eight minutes but TFC II could not muster any momentum
going forward.

The loss moves Toronto FC II to 0-6-2 on the season. Toronto FC II returns to action next Wednesday
as they take on Atlanta United 2.
