Eckenrode, 22, appeared in seven matches, logging 385 minutes during the 2017 USL regular season with Toronto FC II. He missed the majority of the 2017 season as he was rehabbing from an injury. Eckenrode was originally selected by the Reds in the fourth round (83rd Overall) during the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.
