Afram Gorgees pulled the strings in the Toronto FC III attack, earning three assists in the 4-1 win
over North Mississauga SC at the BMO Training Ground on Sunday afternoon.

June's Gatorade Athlete of the Month stretched the play as he marauded down the touchline and fired
in crosses - two of which were finished for a brace by Zakaria Abdi (7', 34').

TFC III controlled the right wing as their main entry point, opening the scoring when Kunle Dada-Luke
fired in a low cross from the right for Luke Singh (6') to get on the end of.

The Junior Reds used the same idea to get their next two goals, with Gorgees and Abdi combining
to give their team a substantial lead.

The lead could have been bigger, but Jordan Prescod (10') cut the deficit for North Mississauga after
a scramble from a corner kick led to him putting one past TFC goalkeeper and academy call-up
Michael De Leo.

Soon after the third TFC goal, North Miss GK Spyro Stergiotis tripped Dada-Luke after coming off
his line to go for the ball. Stergiotis was shown a yellow card as TFC got a penalty kick.

Dada-Luke stepped up for the ensuing spot kick, but Stergiotis dove correctly to his right to save
the penalty, keeping the score at 3-1 going into halftime.

North Mississauga closed the gap to prevent Gorgees from wreaking havoc in the second half, but they
were unable to stop his hat-trick of assists on a corner kick. The right back found Dada-Luke (54')
unmarked on the edge of the box, and the forward grabbed his sixth goal of the season.

North Miss continued to put pressure in attack to try to catch up. Substitute Darnelle Nicolson
had a chance on goal with only full-back Sal Mazzaferro in his way, but the defender made
a perfectly-timed slide tackle to clear the ball.

The Panthers had another shot in the 78th minute that was destined for goal, but TFC defender
Colin Gander made the goal-line clearance to help Toronto see out the rest of the game for
the 4-1 win.

Toronto FC III (10-2-3) are now undefeated in their last three matches. They move into first place
with 33 points. League1 Ontario's highest scoring offence has a goal differential
of +29 (48 GF, 19 GA).

TFC III have finished their season schedule at home, but have one more away match against
Vaughan Azzurri, which has yet to be rescheduled.

North Mississauga SC (3-6-4) are win-less in their last five games. They sit in 12th place
with 13 points. Their goal differential is at -9 (14 GF, 23 GA).

The Panthers get a two-week break before returning to League1 action on September 8 (8:00 p.m.),
when they welcome the defending champions', Oakville Blue Devils,
to the Hershey Centre, Mississauga.
