In a very physical match that ended up with both sides being reduced to ten men, Unionville Milliken S.C.
defeated Aurora FC with a 4-2 result to keep themselves in the 8-team playoff zone.

Aurora had a better start and got on the score sheet after a Morey Doner (9') drive from the corner of the box.

The lead lasted all of one minute before Unionville responded, Kiril Dimitrov (10') placing the ball in the
top left corner of the net with a shot from outside the box.

Tables were turned shortly after as Unionville's Isaiah Prentice-Whyte (13') beat the keeper and put away
the go-ahead goal - the result of a defensive blunder from an Aurora defender that conceded possession
at the edge of the box.

Aurora found some good fortune shortly afterwards, getting back on level terms against the run of play after
the Unionville keeper punched away a cross that hit his teammate Halburto Harris, and rebounded into the net
for an own goal.

The visitors, Unionville, dominated possession for the rest of the half and had the edge over the host, finally
retaking the lead just before the half-time through Dimitrov's (45') strike from the edge of the box.

Down by one goal, Aurora pushed forward in the second half to tie it up but they struggled to open up the
opponent's defence.

On the other hand, Unionville was dangerous when countering and ultimately doubled the lead thanks
to Richard West's tap-in (82'), grabbing three important points with a 4-2 win and holding down the seventh
of eight playoff spots with three matches left to play.

The second half of this match was fiercely contested in midfield, resulting in the dismissal of Bradley Heath
from Unionville and Dylan Rennie for violent conduct.

Aurora FC's next match is against Toronto Skillz FC on September 9 (5 p.m.) at Birchmount Stadium, Toronto.

Unionville Milliken S.C. will face Masters Futbol at L'Amoreaux, Toronto on August 25 (8 p.m).
