Three goals in less than 10 minutes from Dieu Merci Yuma (40',45') and Drai Gordon (48') were all Sanjaxx needed
to grab three points over Aurora FC in League1 Ontario men's division action.

Both sides stuck to their starting formations throughout the 90 minutes of play, with Sanjaxx sticking
to a 4-3-3 and Aurora using a 4-4-2 narrow diamond.

The match started with both teams sharing possession of the ball, but neither could force anything on target.

The visiting Aurora side looked to win the ball back quickly in Sanjaxx's half, pressing deep and creating
chances in the attacking third. However one shot was all Aurora could get off in the first half-hour.

After the ref signalled for a water break in the 25th minute, Sanjaxx decided to switch their starting
left winger Kimoni Bailey to the right, and right winger Stefan Nikolic to the opposite side.

The switching of Bailey and Nikolic appeared to be a smart decision, as Bailey was able to deliver a well
placed cross straight to Yuma, who headed home the first goal of the match.

Five minutes later, Nikolic was able to flick a pass over an Aurora defender and found Yuma, who placed his
third goal in two matches past the keeper to give Sanjaxx the 2-0 lead.

Midfielder Gordon got on the scoresheet after he fired a shot from inside the 18 yard-box.

The rest of the half saw Sanjaxx slow down play and manage the result in hopes of securing their strong lead.

With the win, Sanjaxx now improve to 4-5-2 (14 points) and sit in a three way tie with first year clubs
Alliance United FC and Darby FC for one of the last playoff positions.

As for Aurora, they will host Unionville-Milliken S.C on August 19 (4:00 p.m.) at Stewart Burnett Park, Aurora.

The Sanjaxx Lions will travel to Windsor to take on Windsor TFC on August 19 (4:00 p.m.)
at McHugh Stadium Field, Windsor.
