Abdi who chips low 10 yard shot over sliding goalie Aaron Peters and into center of net.
5 min...TFC goalie is out to 20 yards to slide and block PS Uadiale shot on through ball pass.
6 min...TFC Bilousov blasts 20 yarder from right that has ball tip off PS Borowski at 10 yards and
is caught by goalie.
8 min...TFC Zakaria Abdi GOAL...TFC Mohammed rush down left and jumps over sliding tackle at 28 yard line.
Mohammed then sends low centering cross and Abdi one-touches 15 yard shot over goalie and just under bar.

pops up later in play.

in 6 yard box by defender.

Attendance was about 50 on this mild and overcast day with some breaks of sun coming out. Later there'd be
another period of rain as there was earlier in the day.

Zakaria Abdi scored at 4' and 8' to give TFC III an early lead on a 10 yard shot then a 15 yard shot. As the team
had scored 29 goals in nine league games coming into today, I was expecting a blowout as Pro Stars are near the
bottom of the table. Also Pro Stars had only scored 9 goals in 10 league games this season up to today which
was another reason I felt the game was almost over so soon. Muhammed Ashim responded at 11 minutes on a header
after a partial clearance of a freekick and it became quite a close game. TFC's Daniel Bilousov took a Penalty
kick at 63 minutes that goalie Aaron Peters smothered on the right post and when Anthony Chrysanthou blasted
a 20 yarder which goalie Brogan Engbers could only get a piece of we had a tie game at 78 minutes.
TFC's Terique Mohammed blasted a 22 yard freekick from the right straight into the top left corner of the net
at 87 minutes for the winner.

Today Aaron Peters had to be brilliant to keep Pro Stars in the game. I counted four point blnak saves plus
the Penalty kick save. The 1997 has played seven full games allowing 14 goals against. I remember seeing him
stopping two Penalty kicks against Aurora FC in Cup play. An article at 'The Medium.ca' says he only started
playing goal at age 15. He is the goalie for UTM which is University of Toronto at Mississauga.

Brogan Engbers of TFC was aggressive and would charge out of his box to clear potential dangers. He slid to make
a save at 40 minutes and appeared to make the stop with his face.

I didn't realize that TFC Kunle Dada-Luke was on the bench at the TFC II game last night. He was an unused sub
but it must have been a long ride back from their 'home' game in Rochester New York to be back and ready for
this afternoon's game.

June 23rd at Victoria Park TFC III had eliminated Pro Stars at the Quarterfinal round of the L1O Cup 3-0 with
two Penalty kicks scored from the spot and an own goal. Peters was in net for that game while Gianluca Catalano
had the shutout for TFC.

TFC III break out of a three way tie for first this weekend with the victory as fellow table toppers Sigma FC
and FC London slipped up and 'only' managed ties in home games. Friday night had FC London tie mid-table
Unionville Milliken SC 1-1 on a game delayed for 90 minutes by thunder and lightning. Saturday afternoon had
Sigma and Oakville Blue Devils play to a scoreless tie.

The TFC III schedule gets more difficult with them in the L1O Cup Final next Saturday against Vaughan Azzurri
and then the two games a week schedule starts with a Tuesday game away against Woodbridge and a Sunday game
against Sigma FC.

Pro Stars record falls to 1 win, 6 losses, 4 ties for 7 points. They are in fourteenth place and a climb
to a playoff spot (ninth because TFC III are not taking part) lookes dim with only five games to go.
