Alliance United FC fell behind twice against Masters Futbol but fought back and eventually got one point
thanks to the last-gasp Connor McFall (90') goal.

Masters started the match off in a 4-2-3-1 formation; on the other hand, Alliance changed their formation
based on how their rival set-up.

Instead of playing in a 4-2-3-1 like their last matches, they alternated between 5-2-3 (when they had
no ball) and 3-4-3 (when they have the ball).

The first half was very even with few real scoring chances.

On fourteen minutes, Alliance could have taken the lead but Nicholas Osorio's low finish in an almost
one-on-one situation with the keeper was an inch wide.

Masters were the team to score first. Jose De Sousa's (23') smart header from the middle of the box
on a cross from the right side went into the net after touching the far post, no chance for the keeper.

After the goal, Alliance pushed forward and got back on level terms. Nirunthan Sivananthan (34')
received the ball from a free-kick on the left side and sent it into the top of the net with
a powerful shot from close range.

The second half had the same story. The game was balanced and played more in the middle of the field,
with few scoring chances though Masters had more possession.

Masters took the lead again after Alliance keeper Mark Rogal blocked De Sousa's shot
and Shawn Brown (77'), who came off the bench 26 minutes before, scored in rebound with a tap-in.

It seemed the match would end with that result, but Alliance's pressure paid off and they came
back again.

In the last minute of the five minutes of the stoppage time, Connor McFall took advantage
of a scramble in the Masters' box and got Alliance level with a precise shot.

It was the third consecutive time that Alliance conceded first but didn't lose (two draws and
a win); it seems they know how to come back.

On the other end of the spectrum, just like the last week, Masters conceded a very late goal;
they lost against TFC III with a penalty on 88 minutes, and this time they exchanged three
points for only one in the last seconds of the match.

Masters Futbol's next match is in the L1 Cup against Oakville Blue Devils
on Sunday, June 24 (6:00 pm) at Sheridan Trafalgar Campus. In the league, they will take
on ProStars FC in their next match on Saturday, July 7 (8:30 p.m) and at Victoria Park Brampton.

Alliance United FC, who have been eliminated in the L1 Cup, will face Windsor TFC
at L'Amoreaux #1 on Sunday, July 8 (7:00 p.m) in the league.
