Woodbridge put up three goals before the 30th minute mark, and didn’t look back, as they defeated
Toronto Skillz 9-0 in Matchweek Six.

The Strikers started the match with control of the ball, forcing Skillz to back-up and defend right away.

Skillz keeper Peter Katsaras was kept busy all game long, making acrobatic saves and trying to keep
his team in the match.

However early goals from Bruce Cullen (12'), Emmanuel Issac (24') and Stefano Voci (29') put a lot
of pressure on the visiting Toronto team.

Woodbridge almost made it 4-0 before the half, but Cristian Cavallini’s shot from the top of the box
was denied by the crossbar.

The second half saw Toronto push Woodbridge back and force their backline to block numerous shots
from the top of the box.

It appeared that the Skillz game plan in the second half was to have their speedy and strong wingers
dictate play and keep pestering Woodbridge's full-backs.

But three more goals in the span of ten minutes saw the home side go up 6-0.

After 90 minutes were played, Woodbridge would end up with all three points and have two players
- Ignazio Muccilli (76', 90+3') and Issac (24', 65') - end up with braces.

With the win, Woodbridge improve to 3-1-2 (11 points) and are joint second placed holders with
the Oakville Blue Devils.

Woodbridge's next match will see them travel to Bill Crothers Turf Centre and take
on Unionville-Milliken SC on June 16 (6:00 p.m.).

Toronto Skillz will head to Hershey Centre 1 to take on Sigma FC on June 16 (4:00 p.m.).
