A very evenly matched game between North Mississauga Panthers and Ottawa South United Force
left both with one point each after a 3-3 final scoreline.

Ottawa's quick counter-attack showed up early as Dario Conte (8') opened the scoring for
the boys in white within then minutes, tapping the ball into the right corner past the goalkeeper.

North Mississauga tried to find an equalizer in the 14th minute with Sundin Esperance taking
a free kick from 20 yards out and finding Anthony Wright.

Wright tried to head the ball past Ottawa keeper St. Thomas, but St. Thomas adeptly tipped
the ball over the net.

The Panthers were able to tie the game when Johnson Luyiga (33') received a cross from the
left from Emilio Estevez, but the 1-1 scoreline did not last long as OSU's Myles Cornwall (43')
countered an attack with a fast break down the flank, beat the goalkeeper and slotted into
the corner of the net. This solo effort was enough to push Ottawa ahead 2-1 going into
the half-time break.

Home supporter hopes of a North Mississauga win dimmed as Ryan Massoud (53') extended the
lead 3-1 after neatly tucked away the third goal for OSU.

Massoud, received a long ball after beating two defenders, which left him with plenty of time
and minimal opposition to finish.

However, Ottawa's lead began to diminish as the Panthers' Damion Scott (55') brought the
scoreline to 3-2 after Daren Chambers carried the ball down the wing, crossed into the centre
and set up Scott nicely. This goal was enough to reignite the flame for the Reds.

Now dominating possession, the Panthers found their equalizer through Tristan Watson (74'),
who controlled a long ball and beat the goalkeeper.

Finally finding their top gear, North Mississauga dominated possession for the remainder
of the game but was not able to finish any other goal scoring efforts, as Ottawa switched
from attacking to defending.

North Mississauga will play neighbours Sigma FC at Hershey Centre on June 27 (9 p.m.).

Ottawa South United Force travel to London where they will face FC London
at the German Canadian Club on June 16 (4 p.m.).
