North Mississauga Panthers take the three points after a hard fought battle against Darby FC.

A scoreless first half saw both sides equally share possession as they tried to find a goal.
The midfield were busy first half with both sides battling it out at the centre of the pitch
for control.

Darby's Le Rohne Young, Dylan Campbell, and Steven Furlano played a major part in Darby's
control of the tempo first half, as they moved the ball back-and-forth down the left wing.

An early dismissal for North Mississauga saw Jesse Bibby ejected from the game
in the 37th minute, causing the reds to play a man down the remainder of the game.

A half time score of 0–0 was quickly changed as the panthers found an opening shortly after
the restart when a Sundin Esperance (48') corner found Johnson Luyiga (48'), who headed
the ball past the goalkeeper.

Darby's Jonathan Parolini was dismissed from the game in the 86th minute after accumulating
his second caution of the match. His ejection evened the playing field to ten men for both sides,
and combined with Luyiga's goal it was a boost for the Panthers confidence, as they then
dominated possession, shots and controlled tempo for the remainder of the game.

North Mississauga will host Ottawa South United Force on June 10th at Hershey Centre at 3pm.

Darby FC travel to London where they will face FC London at the German Canadian FC Stadium,
on June 9th at 4pm.
