TFC III Advance In L1OM Cup With 4-1 Win Over Windso

It was a hot afternoon in Windsor, but that didn’t stop TFC III from defeating Windsor TFC 
by a score of 4-1 on Sunday in League1 Cup action.

From the first to final whistle, TFC III was in complete control of the game and wasted 
no time hitting the score sheet.

In the 17th minute, TFC III's Olakunie Dada-Luke finished off a great ball that was swung 
inside the box with ease. They added to their lead when Malyk Hamilton (38') put the ball 
into the wide-open goal. It was TFC III’s great ball movement that led to open looks on goal.

The visitors took a 2-0 lead into halftime and added another quickly into the second half when 
Theodor Corbeanu (53') finished off a partial breakaway to put TFC up 3-0 before the hour mark.

Windsor TFC would respond with a Michael Pio (55') goal, but could not find their way back.

TFC substitute Daniel Bilousov (71') would seal the game when he capitalized on a defensive 
error and scored on his first touch of the match. This solidified the 4-1 victory for his team.

With the win, TFC III move on in the Men's League1 Cup and will take on ProStars FC.

Windsor returns back to regular season play when they travel to take on the Oakville Blue Devils 
on June 3 (4:00 p.m.).

As for TFC III, they will host Aurora FC on June 3 (1:00 p.m.) at BMO Training Ground and Academy.
