Pro Stars FC at Stewart Burnett Park in Aurora at 7:00pm. This was a Second Round
L1O Cup 2nd round game.

94 min...PS RED card...An assistant manager is ejected for searing from the bench on a not hand ball call.
The referee consults with the fourth official about who it was.

End of regulation time 2-2 and L1O rules are to go straight to Penalty kicks. Both managers were
expecting an extra time period.

Penalty kick round:
1. AFC Morey Doner scores to top right corner beyond goalie.
1. PS Owusu George scores on shot to low left as goalie fell backwards faked out by stutter step approach.
2. AFC Kairav Juta scores on right side as goalie flies left.
2. PS Alksander Zwierzynski scores by banking ball off inside of left post beyond goalie.
3. AFC Carlos Buitrago blasts shot to left and goalie flies over to stop it.
3. PS Uday Arora rolls ball to right corner beyond diving goalie.
4. AFC Ricardo Perez Padilla blasts low to right beyond diving goalie.
4. PS Yuriy Klinovskyy low blast is just under diving goalie.
5. AFC Alexandre Medeiros stutter steps then shoots to left and goalie dives to stop.

Final Score:...Aurora FC......2.....Pro Stars FC.....2.......
(after 90 minutes game goes straight to Penalty kicks and Pro Stars win 4-3 on four rounds of Penalties.

Attendance was about 75 on this hot evening with the game ending just before the sun set.  

Referee David Barrie gave out two Yellow card to each team in a game that got rough in spots and gave 
a Red card to an assistant manager on the Pro Stars bench for complaining about a hand ball he wanted 
called near the AFC box.  

Aaron Peters for Pro Stars looked good with three Penalty kick stops (one in regulation).  He was not 
fooled by the stutter step approach in the last round and made a save on a shot without a lot of power.  
Peters had made a stop on a 7 yard shot at 86 minutes from Connor Woodroffe to keep them in the game.   

Ryan Collins was caught twice on Penalties committing too soon and was on the ground before the ball 
was struck.  Still both looked better than that goalie for Liverpool in the UEFA Championship yesterday.    

Although not pointless, neither team has won after four weeks of league play.  

Oh and Pro Stars FC advance to play TFC III next round as Toronto FC III won 4-1 against Windsor TFC 
on the road with enough fire power using guys not brought up for the TFC II game yesterday against Tampa Bay.    

The winner of the L1O Cup just wins a trophy.  It is League play and playoffs that decide who advances 
to the Canadian Championship/Voyageurs Cup next season.
