Sigma FC opened their season in style with a 4-1 victory over Windsor TFC.

Marcel Zajac (45', 77', 83') led the way for Sigma with a natural hat-trick, while Giuliano Frano (37' pk)
added the other marker for the home side.

Frano saw his first half penalty well saved by Windsor TFC keeper Shervin Mollahassani, but managed
to slot home on the rebound.

The hosts were finally able to kick-off in 2018 campaign after having their originally scheduled opener
on the road at Darby FC postponed due to weather issues at the Whitby Soccer Centre.

Stefan Milidrag (30') struck the only goal for the visitors with a nice finish off of a long ball pass for
his second goal of the season.

Both Mollahassani and Sigma keeper Triston Henry made some quality saves in the contest, however Zajac's goal
in the dying moments of the opening half proved to be too much for Windsor TFC to overcome.

Next up for Sigma FC is a road match-up with OSU Force on May 19th (3:30 pm) at Quinns Point.

Windsor TFC remain winless through three matches so far this season, but will look to rebound in a road match
against Master's Futbol on May 19th (8pm) at L'Amoreaux 1.
