Ottawa South United's Dario Conte (90 + 2’) scored an exciting late goal in the final minutes of the match,
but it proved to be too little too late as Darby FC came out on top with a 2-1 victory.

OSU came out strong, dominating the ball early in the first half but Darby FC quickly matched their momentum.
Despite a handful of promising opportunities for both teams, the first half ended scoreless.

Just two minutes into the second half, Jemuel Paul (47') got the first goal of the match, putting Darby FC
up by one.

Darby FC's lead stayed at just one until late the 86th minute, when a long ball from the corner went off
of OSU's Ali Jabara and into his own net, increasing Darby FC's lead to two.

Minutes later, OSU's Conte cut Darby FC's lead back down to one with a late goal.

OSU ran back to centre circle in hopes of kicking off and getting a quick opportunity as the seconds ran down,
but with the final whistle Darby FC edged them with a 2-1 final score.

Ottawa South United has yet to get a win at home this season but they will look to break that streak as they
continue at home next Saturday, May 19 (3:30 p.m.) against Sigma FC.

Darby FC will next play North Mississauga FC on Sunday June 3 (3:00 p.m.) at Hershey Centre 1.
