Giuliano Frano (17', 68') and Jordan Kalonji (77', 86') braces, combined with a clean sheet from
Triston Henry, paved the way for west division powerhouse Sigma FC to beat division bottom-dwellers
Pro Stars FC 6-0 on Matchweek 21.

"Obviously the opponent had struggled this year and so we expected we should be able to come
in here and impose ourselves on them," said Sigma head coach, Bobby Smyrniotis.

"At the same time, although they have struggled they have also had some very close results,
including one against Oakville last week where they almost had a tie. We used that game
as an example to our players that this was a game to really get after quick."

Daniel Jodah (39') and Jerome Smith (55') added singles to the score-sheet for Sigma, ensuring
the result. Smyrniotis singled out his team's play on both sides of the ball, and the individual
performance by captain Giuliano Frano, for special mention.

"We put a lot of pressure on the opponent from an attacking aspect and also from a defensive
aspect in their half and I think we did a good job in the first half," he said.

"We obviously scored two goals and created multiple opportunities. I think we were just lacking
in that final finish in the first half, where I think we could have had more goals. What we
didn't do in the first half we did more of in the second half, we were a little more ambitious
to the goal and our strike rate was better. It got us up to six goals and any game you can
win and play some football, you are always happy and can take three points and get ready
for the next one."

"I think Giuliano Frano was the guy today that kept very good balance to our team and did
a very good job," added Smyrniotis.

"Although he is playing in a role that's not the prettiest on the field he provides a lot
of what works with our team from a possession aspect, from getting movement, switching points
of attack. He also had two very nice goals on the day so I think our captain did a very
good job for us."

Sigma FC will next play Sanjaxx Lions on September 23 at Hershey Centre, Mississauga.

Pro Stars FC will next play Windsor TFC on September 23 at Avondale Stadium, Brampton.
