Soheil Varahram (67') scored once for visitors Ottawa South United Force but it was
Kamara Joseph (26', 85') with a brace to secure Toronto Skillz's second win of the season
on Matchweek 18.

"I think we saw this game as an opportunity to get a win," said Toronto Skillz head coach,
Leslie "Tiger" Fitzpatrick.

"We looked at their roster and, similar to our roster and others, they have lost a lot
of players to university. A lot of the senior players have left. We really focused through
the first part of the season on playing our younger kids to give them experience because
we knew moving into the second half there would be a chance to pick up some points."

"As you see, we've had two wins now in the last three games. It's a testament to our
young kids stepping up."

Toronto Skillz have also added some new personnel to the team, including the goalscorer
Joseph, who now has three goals in two matches.

"Kamara [Joseph] is a player I know since I first came here to Toronto," said Fitzpatrick.

"I played with him in the Ontario Soccer League (OSL) and just recently I saw him again
and asked him to join us. He's a positive influence on the team - skillful, fast,
he understands the game and obviously he has a knack for scoring goals. Having him
on the field with us helps with the dynamic nature of our front group."

"We have him and Hassani [Kamara], Neil [Brown] - three players we brought in for the
end of the season, who I think give us a lot of peace and the chance to score some goals."

OSU Force head coach Traian Matheas was happy with his side's play, although he rued
several missed opportunities.

"I thought it was a good game considering there were very young players out there,"
he said. "The league should be for that age, to be honest with you. I had seventeen
year olds mixed in with a couple older guys. It went alright. I'm happy with how they
played and how they integrated. Now just going forward it is a matter of training more
often and getting some patterns of play to work on."

"But You win if you put the ball in the fishing net but we didn't," he added.

"We created chances, we kept possession, but possession without result doesn't take
you very far. We could have. We had a good second half and could have got a couple
of goals."

Toronto Skillz will next play Toronto FC III on September 2
at Kia Training Ground, Toronto.

OSU Force will next play Masters FA Saints on September 9
at University of Carleton, Ottawa.
