Windsor TFC stopped the progress of third ranked east division side North Toronto Nitros in its tracks
on Matchweek 11, with Noah Pio (45'), Kyle Ruggaber (54') and Michael Pio (70') scoring to give
Windsor a 3-2 away win.

"This league is pretty tight," said Windsor owner, Vancho Cirovski. "In many of the games where
we didn't earn three points, it could have just as easily have gone the other way. I think that
our program is getting more consistency."

"We're playing good football, moving the ball and getting good chances, we just need the players
to finish and I think now we have those finishers in place."

The Nitros goals for column suggested the best offence in the east division, with an average
of 2.7 goals per game. It took until late in the contest for Nitros to show their trademark attacking
spark, but with Kinlay Shulman (88') and Matthew Rosalen (90' + 2') scoring twice in two minutes
it appeared as though the Nitros might pull off an unlikely equalizer.

"The game was over at that point so you can't take too much from the goals, except that we showed
that we cared," said North Toronto team official, Gary Fleming.

"We didn't show that we cared for the previous eighty nine and a half minutes. We were disappointed
because we felt we could and should have won this game, but credit to the other team - they took
their chances."

"We've had to basically change because we have lost our two main strikers," he added. "One has gone
to Sweden and one is away for a month. The impact they bring to the game was missing so we've
had to adjust."

"When you fall behind, sometimes you have to change and be more direct, long balls and stuff,
and that was actually effective today at times. It's a bit of a change to our style but we're also
letting in bad goals, making mental mistakes, silly mistakes. Most games when the other team scores
it is usually due to an error on our part, so we have to work on that."

North Toronto Nitros will next play Sanjaxx Lions on July 16 at Monarch Park, Toronto.

Windsor TFC will next play Aurora FC on July 15 at St. Maximillion Kolbe HS, Aurora.
