Kadell Thomas (7', 8', 59') continued his scoring form for Sigma FC and banged in a hat-trick
in under an hour, but it was not enough as Windsor TFC found a second half solution and through
Dredon Kelly (66'), Stephen Ademolu (71') and Celso Carapau (87') they leveled the score at 3-3.

"It's always good when you can score goals, and we have a lot of players that can score," said
Sigma head coach, Bobby Smyrniotis.

"Kadell has done well to score in the last few games, but in the end we are concerned with
getting three points and we didn't come out with three today."

Sigma's early lead was no accident, with Smyrniotis revealing that the home team had been
well scouted beforehand.

"We had a game plan as we do with every game," said Smyrniotis. "We had a close look at video
of Windsor and saw a way we could expose them in this game."

"I thought we did that well in the first fifteen minutes by scoring two goals and coming up with
some more good chances. After that, and this can happen, I think our players started to let
off a bit and that is what happened in the latter part of the first half."

"I think the weather played a small part in that the ball skipped and moved quicker and I think
that had a role to play in Windsor's tying goal, but there are a lot bigger things that happen
in a game."

For his part, Windsor head coach Zibby Piatkiewiz was happy with the comeback in the second half,
and felt his team did just enough to unlock the Sigma defensive puzzle.

"We basically had a talk at half-time, we made one substitution, and that was the key," he said.

"We changed tactics a little bit in the second half and we closed up the spaces between the players
so we could close them down much quicker. Those were the key points to today's tie."

Windsor TFC will next play FC London on Friday June 2 at German Canadian Club, London.

Sigma FC will next play North Mississauga Panthers on Saturday June 3 at Hershey Centre, Mississauga.
