It was an absolute cracker of a game at Terry Fox Stadium in Brampton on Friday night,
and home team Pro Stars lost a heartbreaking 4-3 result to visitors FC London.

"Our approach was to control the game just as we have in recent weeks, but to take more
risk today in the final third today," said FC London head coach, Eduard Schmidt.

"We wanted to mix the control style with more risky style but of course we were facing
an opponent that was pretty good themselves and also able to exploit some of our
weaknesses," he added.

"It was a very interesting game to watch, and I feel sorry for Pro Stars. They played
really well here and I'm sad to see they only have one point after these initial games.
It must feel very bitter for them today because they did so many things well in the
match and were an extremely difficult opponent."

Pro Stars were off to a dream start after a goal from Jack Crawford (8') inside
ten minutes, before a quick three goals from Connor Wilson (17', 31')
Elvir Gigolaj (35') changed the complexion of the match entirely.

"We think that Pro Stars is one of the best teams in the league," said Schmidt.

"They really try to build up and play, and they really have good ideas in possession.
It is really not that easy to play against them, they have a lot of really
talented young players."

"However, we wanted a game where we would score many goals, and we did manage
that today."

Pro Stars bounced back quickly in the second half, and through Kibwe Dyer (53')
and Navid Rahman (62') they were back on level terms just after the restart
and seemingly gathering in momentum.

"I think the game was a bit unlucky on our end, I felt we dominated this game,"
said Pro Stars coach, Stiven Mikhail.

"I think the result is the truth but then again London perservered through
long periods in the match when they were under pressure and they still found
a way to win."

It would be FC London to find that final bit of goldust and go home with three
points following a Sean Fawsitt (85') header minutes from regular time.

"Sean Fawsitt is a very dedicated and hard worker," said FC London coach
Eduard Schmidt.

"You always need players like Sean. Of course he has some limitations like
any player, but he is a very good player and is the best team player that
we have in our team," he continued.

"He is the type of guy, as you saw today, that you can bring on and he will
work 100 per cent for the team, and he will try and make an impact for the team.
He is not selfish and the fact that he scored the goal is the best sign for us."

"This is a team game and we know that we can always bring him
on and count on him."

Pro Stars will next play TFC III on Sunday June 4
at Kia Training Ground, Toronto.

FC London will next play Windsor TFC on Friday June 2
at German Canadian Club, London.
