66 min...TO GOAL...Kouzmanis misses kick but dekes around defender and from 5 yards on left post cuts shot into right side of net under bar.
70 min...YS Reitano 12 yard shot partially blocked by goalie's foot and off left post for corner.
72 min...TO Smith blasts clearance attempt 25 yards that goalie tips over bar.
74 min...TO Kaisavrias and YS Vittoria get lecture by referee for retaliation as TO Kaisavrias started it by hard tackle or push.
75 min...TO shot from right hits right mesh of net.
77 min...TO shot from 20 yards on right well over bar.
78 min...TO Kouzmanis has point blank shot blocked by goalie who covers rebound after give and go pass.
79 min...TO GOAL...Marshall 25 yard shot low over sprawling goalie.

81 min...TO GOAL...Carter on diving header from right after TO Ziannis crosses ball from left.

game ended at 9:17pm, that's in the 86th minute but maybe the referee had his own mercy rule. I was using wrist watch time because of the broken scoreboard.
Final Score:........Toronto Olympians......12.......York Region Shooters.......0...
Attendance was about 100 people. Olympians Gus Kouzmanis scored four goals. York Region were the fifth place team in the league and needed to win to get into the playoffs by passing the slumping North York Astros. This game showed up the huge talent gap in the league. Olympians finish the league part of the schedule with a 13 win, 1 tie season.
This was a bad thumping but I've seen a few a month earlier at the Women's Concacaf Qualifiers for the 1999 World Cup. The idea is to cheer for the first few goals and then be low key when the score adds up--like as if the players were saying 'SCORE, oops sorry about that'. Excessive bragging leads to cheap shots and someone can get injured out there for future games.
The Olympians seem to get stronger as now they have Daryl Holmes on their roster after he completed the Toronto Lynx season a few weeks earlier. His role on this team is less a defender than more a rushing winger who comes back to help defend.
