Attendance was about 80 to 100. I helped by bringing my father, John Glover to the game. It was Father's Day here in North America and after his hospital stay in February, I was quite happy I could celebrate this day. He's a long time baseball fan and doesn't know all the rules about soccer. ("no dad, you don't usually see that (kung fu kicks) in a game").
My drive to the stadium involved some detours to avoid Yonge Street where thousands of Iranian fans who were blocking the street celebrating the result of the World Cup game between Iran and the USA. I put a Canadian flag in my car and waved it at the stoplights. Where will they be when the Iranian team is eliminated later in the week? Answer in hindsight, nowhere to be seen.
This was the Astros first win of the season in three games.
