GRANDSTAND FINISH TO THE 2023 SEASON GUARANTEED AS FULL SCHEDULE IS ANNOUNCED

The Nine Stripes conclude the campaign with five home games across final seven fixtures.

York United FC will begin the 2023 Canadian Premier League season with a pair of home games, but the real
story is what the final quarter of the campaign looks like for The Nine Stripes.

The CPL officially unveiled the fixture list on Monday and it makes for some highly interesting reading.

As was previously disclosed last week, York United's odyssey starts with a clash against Valour FC
at York Lions Stadium on Sunday, April 16. And six days later - on Saturday, April 22 - Martin Nash's
charges will take on new-boys Vancouver FC also on home soil.

Meanwhile, the month is rounded out with the first away trip of the season: a juicy derby with provincial
rivals Atletico Ottawa on Saturday, April 29, before a return to York Lions Stadium for another derby
under the Friday night lights and a highly-anticipated meeting with Forge FC.

Following a two-game road trip to take in games against Pacific FC (Sunday, May 14) and Halifax Wanderers
(Sunday, May 20), the team then returns home for a first game of the season against Cavalry FC
(Sunday, May 28).

York Lions Stadium plays host to Atletico for the first time on Friday, June 9 while there's a midweek
home clash with Halifax later in the month. The derby battles continue on Sunday, July 9th as York host
back-to-back home fixtures for the second time, starting with another assignment with Forge FC,
while Pacific FC visit on Friday, July 14.

August is dominated by a run of three successive away fixtures, beginning with another trip to the
nation's capital to face Atletico on Saturday, 5th and then games at Tim Hortons Field
(Saturday, August 12) and Spruce Meadows to take on Cavalry FC (Sunday, August 20).

That's when the schedule takes an intriguing turn.

The final quarter of the season (seven games in total) begins on Friday, August 25 when Vancouver FC
are the visitors to York Lions Stadium once again. There's a Labour Day clash with Halifax
at Wanderers Grounds on Monday, September 4 and then four straight home fixtures as the regular season
finish line comes into view.

The extravaganza begins on Friday, September 8 when Valour FC come to town. Then, it's a meeting with
Pacific FC on Sunday, September 17 before another Friday night clash, this time against Cavalry FC
(September 22nd). The home stand concludes with a provincial derby against Atletico Ottawa
on Sunday, October 1.

York United FC's 2023 regular season finishes with a trip to the west coast to take on Vancouver FC
on Friday, October 6.
