CHECK OUT THE ALL-STAR FIRST AND SECOND TEAMS FOR THE MEN’S PREMIER DIVISION IN 2023.

Men's Premier Division First XI

A dangerous duo with a combined scoring total of 42 goals in 2023 leads the All-Star first team with MVP and Forward of the Year Tomasz Skublak and Blue Devils’ converted defender Adam Czerkawski partnering up top.

The division’s highest scoring midfielder, Orlendis Benitez-Hernandez, is joined in the team by the highly talented Nikola Stakic and Alexander Zis who played a combined total of more than 3,000 minutes this season. They are positioned either side of Young Player of the Year finalist Christian Zeppieri from Vaughan Azzurri.

Defender of the Year Gianfranco Facchineri partners title-winning captain Justin Earle in a strong backline, and they are flanked by fellow award finalists Carlo DiFeo from Scrosoppi, and Amardo Oakley from Guelph United.

Baj Maan, who added the Goalkeeper of the Year title to his Men’s Premier Division Champions medal, has been selected between the sticks.

Men's Premier Division Second XI

In the All-Star second team, Men’s Premier Division finalist Andreas Vaikla, who kept eight clean sheets in 22 games in 2023, provides security in goal.

In front of him is a duo including MVP finalist Nyal Higgins and Electric City star Bradley Heath, with Nirun Sivananthan, who played 16 times for Alliance United, at right full-back, and Andra Neptune, who played 17 times for Blue Devils, on the left.

Gray Yates was a stalwart in Guelph United’s return to the playoffs and Ideal Shefqeti played in 18 games for Hamilton United to help them secure Premier Division status next season. Both these players feature in the midfield alongside Brandon Duarte, who scored eight goals in 22 games for Blue Devils, and the Men’s Premier Division Young Player of the Year, Marcus Caldeira.

Leading the line in the second team are Simcoe County Rovers star Jevontae Layne, who netted a game-winning brace in the Men’s Premier Division Final, and Augustus Oku who scored 13 goals in 18 games in a transformative Burlington season.
