3 min...NM Yarde 25 yard roller betwteen players in middle is picked up by goalie.
4 min...NM goalie picks up low 25 yard shot on left side of net.
5 min...NM goalie jumps to catch chip from 15 yards and crashes with PS Kinani injurying him.

96 min...game ends 10:04pm. Originally 4 minutes of added time was given but the PS goalie was injured at 92 minutes
diving forward to smother a ball and NM Christopher Campoli crashed over him.

Attendance was about 80 people on this mild night. Hey last Saturday I had to wear a parka
from the start of the game, Tuesday in Guelph a fleece hoodie was enough, and tonight
a windbreaker was almost unneccessary. So night's have gone from Winter to Summer
in one week. I miss our three days of Spring!

Churchill Meadows is the new home of North Mississauga SC. This was their third home game.
It is an entire community centre with an indoor swimming pool, outdoor basketball courts,
and plenty of concrete for skateboarding. For soccer there is an identical field-turf soccer
field besides this identical field they did use. North Mississauga has change rooms
and office and storage space. (Sigma FC has stayed at the Paramount grounds 13.4 km away
but is enjoying having the extra space and more scheduling freedom).

The park acts as a buffer between a subdivision bordering on the 9th Line and the 407 toll
highway which I then got to watch have almost no traffic the entire game.

I wanted more time to explore but it took me over two hours to get here. I chose
the slow and steady Steeles Ave rather than the hard to predict 401 expressway however
I had to cope with the expected Steeles rush hour in North York then Etobicoke,
and unexpected traffic in Mississauga. I got all the way to Guelph (twice as far)
in 90 minutes on Tuesday.

Both teams need to tighten up on the free headers that were available on cornerkicks.

Claimed in the CPL U-Sports draft in 2021 by York United then in 2022 by HFX Wanderers,
can there be a 'third time lucky'?

Referee John Leuser gave out only two Yellow cards this game. One was at the request
of the fourth official for N Miss co-head coach Ramin Mohammadi for his constant complaining
and one in injury time to Pro Stars Isaiah Noel for delaying a restart even though PS had just
been awarded a throw-in.

Just last Saturday night I had watched Pro Stars score two goals in two minutes to come
from behind and win against Guelph 3-2 and the Sunday night before I watched North Mississauga
score two goals in two minutes and beat Woodbridge Strikers 3-2. I knew something had
to give tonight. Hmm maybe spot the other team the lead?

North Mississauga were in a more celebratory mood with that injury time goal.
Besides coming back from being behind three goals, they also got a result. Pro Stars
coaches and players rushed to the dressing rooms. They'll have to think of the lost
lead and the last minute goal.

At the game was Ryan Gamble taking photos for a project for North Mississauga SC. Add NM
co-head coach Peyvant Mossavat tonight, Dwayne DeRosario at the York United CPL game
to watch his son, and Paul Stalteri with York until last season and now moving on as
an assistant coach for Toronto FC and there's four guys from the 1997 Toronto Lynx!

The result leaves both teams with identical records of 2 wins, 1 tie, 1 loss and puts them
in a tie for fifth place in the twenty-two team division. Being the first game of the weekend,
they will expectedly be knocked down a few places by league results to come. Top six make
the playoffs this season and top twelve over the next two seasons survive at the top in the
division 12-10 split for 2024.

This game also had significance in the fan supported Credit River Cup also including results
of Sigma FC and Simcoe County Rovers compiled of games between the four teams. It's only
the second game of six in the series. Pro Stars lead with 4 points, North Miss with 1,
Sigma with 0 and Simcoe County yet to play.

I didn't see anyone from the CRC group tonight. Maybe they really are saving up for a road
trip to Barrie. There were about ten guys from a North Mississauga group to beat a drum
and chant and let off flares but I'm not sure if they've reorganized from a group that got
banned a few seasons ago.
