Details of the Zoom meeting with York United FC head coach Jimmy Brennan held at 2:00pm  
on Friday June 25, 2021.  Including co-ordinator Micki Benedetti there were 12 participants 
at this virtual meeting.  

York has a lot of new players on their roster and were not allowed to train until less than two weeks 
ago because of Ontario provincial government rules applied because of the Covid pandemic.

The conference jumped right into questions to Jimmy Brennan. 

55 sec...What has been your impression of seeing these players together for the first time?  

2:10 min...Are you expecting set pieces (as they did last year) play a big part in your game because you 
haven't had much time to prepare routines?  

3:00 min...Please give us an idea of how you're making up your mind when you are evaluating so many 
new players settling in? 

5:00 min...How do you look at your position of strength in your two goalkeepers?  

I rediscover how to 'raise my hand' from my silence of yesterday by playing some how-to YouTube videos
of the instructions.  Today I can ask questions!  
 
6:30 min...[I'd just received a tweet earlier today that Nicholas Hamilton had joined the team after 
his loan spell] Are you still expecting the four South American players* and if so when?  

* those four players listed on the team web site are Sebastian Gutierrez (Colombia), Listandro Cabrera
and Mateo Hernandez (both from Argentina) and William Wallace (Brazil) 

7:35 min...Do you anticipate you will have a slow start in the bubble because of the Ontario Government 
only recently raising the training restrictions? 

8:50 min...With so many main characters leaving from last year's team, how will that effect your play?
