Tonight I have a huge lead thanks to winning every round up to now. I have 20374 points against second place BEARS with 12309. I think about risking 50% because I can lose if I'm wrong even if I bet 10% and am wrong and BEARS is right with its expected 50% but...I bet only 10% because I'm not so sure about these answers.
Question: This is the English folk rock band founded by guitarist Richard Thompson in 1967.
No problem as I've read a few things about Richard Thompson in the last year or so. I couldn't name one of the groups songs though. Once again I press in too soon like last week but this time I wait for the number to register. I'm actually walking up to the monitor like having a bum remote controller at home but it registers so I dash back to write out the question.

I'm right and win with 22411. BEARS and about three of the other four players (ok I fed my buddy IDONO the right answer) get this right. It's not good enough to finish in the bars top 10. A big score could have had me finish 1st or 2nd and displaced my 10th place score. I finish 2894th in North America and the bar is 1558th. I earn 2000+ Players Plus points to bring my total to 249500....next game will be a colour change...oh boy.
The band tonight is 'Weekend Pass' who are a quartet of drums, guitar, bass, and vocalist/tambourine led by (gasp) a lady. This woman had the appearance and vocal power of Janis Joplin and belted out mostly 'girl songs' by the likes of Melissa Etheridge and Joplin. That made a nice change from the same old 'guy' cover bands.
Tonight I came to the bar with 247000 P+ points and was a 'green plus' sign but I was quite confident of turning 'red plus' by the second game I played....ok it happened my third game. I'm pleased that I've only been at it at most once a week for about 10 months since signing up. It is twice as far to the next level of 750000 P+ though so I enjoyed tonight. Actually the red plus is harder to see on the monitor.
