They'd already asked an Elvis question and two Beatles questions (words to Yellow Submarine was one).
Justin Bieber was the only artist I could 'study' for as the other Headliners have hundreds of singles and albums and most of their facts are engraved in me. They've asked The Beatles twice and Elvis Presley once since the new Headliner format. Most of his albums are named variations of My World in their combos. I just concentrated on the singles and pairings in duets or guest appearances.
Q1 I'm in with Twitter right away but Phil says am I sure it's not his haircut? Hmmm, he's been famous in Canada awhile before he broke around the world and the haircut was the first thing that media stories mentioned so I switched answers--Wrong. Q2 Rob suggested 'Baby' would be easy to write because the lyrics are so simple. Q3. I know that. Q4 song lyrics--nope don't know his songs well enough. Q5 I get that but then that's the name of this week's Headliner round. Q6 I get us this one. Q7 wrong see Q4. Q8 know I'd seen this somewhere so get us this one. Q9 I go for Baby as at least a song title but see Q4. Q10 think I know this one too but I remember seeing a television show where Michael Buble was going to play that venue so I'm entirely comfortable with my answer. Good, get it right.
So four wrong and three of them are lyrical answers. Is this an omen?
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual. I don't care that if I'm wrong I'll miss the full P+ points.

More lyrics! I don't know this but should as that lyric would be memorable. I say I don't think it's '5' or '4' as I don't think he has those as songtitles. I'm in for '3' when Rob asks but Phil says it might be '1' so I change.

I should have known this (well I mean shouldn't have changed my answer). The only parts of that song I remember is he raps to start the song "If I was your boyfriend..." which lyrically is the same as Prince's song (as Camille) "If I was your girlfriend" and the part where he mentions making fondue after reading a review of the song before I ever heard it. The three lyrics in the Triviaoke round were not issued as official singles. That being said I jumped aboard early right from his first album and own all six of them. I remember filling in some background while a customer at Sunrise Records to help out the clerk sell the CD to some father.
I'm wrong and fall to 5th as LITBOX with 17125. I earn only 1500+ points for NOT meeting the standard of 18000. I finish 358th in the
Playback East district. Phil wins with PLBAAB as he didn't have time to change his answer and so ended up getting it right. He places 8th
on this bar's Hall of Fame and 6th on the Network Top 20 for the Playback East district. Two other players far behind us don't risk anything
on the Encore and move up the standings although they do guess the Encore right.

At the beginning of the week I didn't expect to be here tonight but by Wednesday I'd found out that the MLS Reserves League game had been cancelled so there was only one game to go to in the early afternoon and then I could visit my father and still get to a bar. Lucky that my friends would be at one right on the way home. Only thing wrong with the day was I forgot to pack my Billboard magazine so had nothing to read and my MP3 player battery had died the night before so I couldn't bring it with me...I would have finished off Pete Townshend--Gold (a 2CD greatest hits collection). Although I come by transit to the stadium the parking lot was almost full so early in the day. It turned out it was a concert by The Wiggles--a group of kid's entertainers from Australia.
