Tonight I'm playing with my two boards with Rob COSMO/ASTROS and Phil PLBAAB. I didn't go to the Caribana parade this year as I didn't want to be too long and far from home while I am taping the Olympics and run out of PVR and video tape space. I didn't study this week with the soccer season on except I picked out my two Reggae themed albums (aside from Bob Marley)--a CD and a tape but spent most of my time replaying 'Love of the Common People' (a cover version later covered again by Paul Young). The World music charts right now are mostly 'Celtic' named groups. Celtic Thunder, Celtic Women, etc.
British Invasion would be far the easiest. Q1 easy start. Q2 easy as well (other choices were She's Leaving Home, Fixing A Hole, Lovely Rita Meter Maid, A Day In The Life). Q3 Tattoo You I said was 1980 (other choices were Beggar's Banquet, Between The Buttons, Out Of Our Heads, Aftermath). Q4 Rob got this first but I have a few greatest hits collection. Q5 easy enough when all titles started with 'My' (other choices were My Happiness, My Guy, My Devotion, My Hero) I might have fallen for 'Don't Sleep In The Subway'. Q6 easy again. Q7 Rob gets this but I backed him up as he said he gets them confused with Peter & Gordon. Q8 was easy as well although they threw in some early hits that made the charts like 'Time Is On My Side' and 'Tell Me'. Q9 easy enough. Q10 I got us this one. When I hear it I think of The Beatles but know it's not them. I would have got it right but thankfully knew it right away as I'd just heard it played on the radio about two weeks ago.
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual.

I know this. Rob knows it too and says he and Phil have seen her in concert when she was pregant! I ask for details. No it was only five years ago and she "had a belly" meaning she was fat. She is actually a few years younger than the Rolling Stones. I remember one of her earlier comebacks and the shock of hearing her now gravelly voice singing 'Broken English'.
