It started off all right with the first two but then I was thinking Johnny Cash for 'Walk The Line' and not thinking of anything else. Rob says Linda Ronstadt had a female version of the song but didn't say anything about Waylon Jennings. Q4 and with titles like these I was thinking a black singer rather than white bread Doris Day or Kate Smith. Didn't know Q5 and went with the Gatlin Brothers. For Q6 I think I've heard this and thought Gene Autry rather than Rob taking Roy Rogers. Q7 was a break from Country artists but I didn't know this but know the song was about metal braces for the teeth. I had 'Smile Fo Me' and Rob said 'Show it all' and I was switching to that and only got my ROCKET board over to it...now I'm glad I was too slow. Q8 and Q9 were easy enough--so there's Johnny Cash later in the round. Q10 I guess Barbara Mandrell but Rob warns me that her career was finished by then. I've never heard of Holly Dunn out of the Country singers listed. So that was four Country artist questions. Three and a half answers wrong.

I know this. I was thinking they were going to ask the artist who sang this but I know that too. It is fresh on my mind after reading a Billboard story of his new album 'Thirty Miles West' which I just bought on Tuesday (haven't listened to it yet). I couldn't sing this song but know I have the CD. When I played the song later I had forgotten the song was about a boat and a car!
