Tonight I'm playing with my two boards with Rob COSMO, Phil PLBAAB, and Sean METLCA. Sean got here just in time to sign on his board before this game. I got here at 7:30pm after leaving the soccer stadium on the CNE grounds at 6:30pm. The MLS main game ran from 2-4PM but I stayed for the MLS Reserves game from 4:30-6:30pm. Bus to the subway station and over here but it meant I had no time to eat so just bought two chocolate bars.

I went 7 right for 1000, 2 for +250, 1 for -250, and 0 I didn't answer. Better than the last little while. I mess up on TV theme #1's pulling the trigger too fast with 'The Rockford Files' rather then waiting for 'Welcome Back Kotter'. Oops. #1's not Top 10s. We start off alright. I knew Q1 and so did Rob. I didn't realize Vans was a shoe company but Sean got us that before I thought of it...Sean got us this one for Q2. He also got us Q3 as he knew this one and Q5 as most logical pairing. Leann (Sean's wife) offered up the correct Q4 answer but I went with 'The Edge of Glory Tour' which I thought I'd heard. I expect Sean got this as he pulled ahead of the rest of us. I knew Q6 having read this fact even though the expected 1965 answer would have been The Rolling Stones. Following Sean I was pulled off the George Michael answer for Q7 hearing it as 25 years since his tour...so I went with Michael Bolton. Rob and I made sure the group got Q8 as the year was the other choices (like Whitney Houston) were well established by 1993. Q9 was a mistake. I said it was Michael Anthony but Sean insisted by the year 2007 it would be David Lee Roth. Ack! I changed. Well he helped me on two that I may not have gotten. I got us Q10.
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual. I'm going to need to get this right or I'll lose my P+ bonus points.

I say that I'd be going with '4' right away. It was a U2 tour that I knew had a giant shopping cart (I thought) but I couldn't have said those other things were in their show. I was actually not getting past their last tour with the large props [360 Tour] so people could see the stage. I then start matching groups with names to help peel off the others. hmm Rolling Stones--too early...Eagles--too early. Rob says '5' was Madonna and asks me who was '3'--Katy Perry. Could it be '3'? he asks then says he'll go with it. Just another week of me not being able to 'sell' my answer. [I have never been to a concert of any of these artists].

I'm right and move up to 2nd place as ROCKET with 50250. I earn 3000+ points for meeting the standard of 18000. I finish 10th overall in
the Playback East district. The bar was 3rd in the Playback East district with a 44238 average...METLCA wins and places 5th on the Network Top 20
for Playback East. He's 2nd of 4 on this bar's reset Hall of Fame and I see that no one played here last week.
(ntn.com kept us in 3rd out of 1102 bars in the district).
Putting all the 'right' answers together could have had us win this week as the bar scores of elsewhere were quite modest.

I reached the point standard in record time and just turned my boards over so I wouldn't fall below. I just tipped the others for the rest
