Started the round with very simple questions. I knew Lady Gaga had taken her name from the Queen song 'Radio Ga-Ga'. Q5. I had this one in my notes as she was nominated in 2008 for 'Just Dance' and WON the next year for 'Poker Face'. Q8 was easy as 'Telephone' was not an option. That was Lady Gaga's song where 'Video Phone' was on Beyonce's album. The extra fact said Britney Spears turned this song down! My round was saved by the guys getting me Q9 by tipping me that 'Bad Romance' was an older song. They were right. If this was the Encore I would have had a full 30 seconds to go through my notes. I could back them on this one song.
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual. I reminded my friends to bet 50%.

I don't know this. I say that artists aren't given lots of money to make videos when they first start out so that would rule out '1' and (mistakenly '3'). That leaves '2', '4', '5'. This would be a guess. I don't realize using this logic that '5' is an older song after ths last round's Q9. Rob is asking about '3'. I say I'm going with '2'. I have this answer in the back of my mind**(see below for possible reasoning).
Although I decided I was going with '2', I couldn't sell Rob on my answer so he split so one of us would be right. I guess Phil was convinced. Our bar would have been 2nd instead of 6th if we'd all guessed right.

I'm right and win as ROCKET with 77685. I earn 3000+ points for meeting the standard of 18000. I finish 2nd on the Network Top 20 in North America. The bar was 6th in North America with a 54165 average out of 1825 bars...I finish 2nd on this bar's Hall of Fame board behind only the time I won in the Red Hot Chili Peppers repeat game in November.

Why were we at this bar if Sean METLCA wasn't here? This is a 2 train/26 station subway ride for me. Rob got a late message that Sean wouldn't be here. There were some other friends that may have come after I left. The roads were supposed to be extra slippery but I didn't have any trouble on the way here...mostly underground of course. A long subway ride let's me read over my notes. The Lady Gaga notes I'd written a few week's early as a choice when they went with Katy Perry.
**Why did I have this answer in the back of my mind? I haven't seen this or any video longer than five minutes on the limited amount of video shows I can watch on television. I had to see the 'Last Friday Night' video clip by Katy Perry on YouTube as I'd never seen Debbie Gibson and Corey Feldman playing the parents as the non-music parts were edited out. POMAN from the Skaratings message board had posted that he had not been able to bypass the 'Marry The Night' video because it had started and ran 14 minutes! Maybe that is what got me to think that but I wasn't reading too closely.

That's pretty good as we only controlled four boards in this game. I wouldn't have made the 5000 point standard without Rob giving almost
every answer. There weren't many boxing movies but everything from 'Gunfight at the OK Corral' to 'Transformers' robot fights.
