I had enough time this week to write down the names of the guys in The 4 Seasons. I wasn't going to make notes about The Beach Boys because they have too long of a history. Besides even though I have The Police boxed set, I am a huge fan of The Beach Boys for the last maybe twenty years when I started buying the 2in1 CD collection offered at the music store. I swept through this category except for messing up Q8. I was thinking of the album that I don't own--'Summer in Paradise' and that was finally the album where they covered 'Hot Fun in the Summertime' in 1992. I've played that video on YouTube many times. Confusing that album which had some covers of earlier Beach Boys songs, I guessed 'Surfin' Safari' as the one least likely for them to put on that album. 'Endless Summer' was in 1974 and of course did have all the choices but 'Hot Fun...' on it.
Well let's see other questions, Q6 had been an Encore question years ago and has been re-asked in other rounds since then. The extra fact given in Q4 was the answer in Q5--ie "it was on the album All Summer Long". Q7 other choices were all one word answers that weren't Beach Boys albums. Good Vibrations was on the PA system earlier tonight.
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual. Where was everybody? Guys had left in the middle of rounds so they could smoke. A player had gone home. I'm sure some players who started the game had someone take over for them. Another turned out to not even be up near the bar.

I know this one right away as I've read this story in music books and liner notes. I don't know school songs for any American or Canadian colleges. I make sure the rest know the answer and Ron vouches that I'll be right from my reputation as a music trivia expert. The single of that song had the college song but the album it is from doesn't which made me think years ago that my vinyl album 'Endless Summer' wasn't right.
