We swept this round. I had made notes earlier today about Mariah Carey, I had made notes about The Police more than a year ago. Matchbox 20? no time for them. While the Headliner round was going on, I didn't have time to double check everything but the point about writing out these facts and me reading my notes on the subway over here had me recognize the right answers.

I don't know this. Another Triviaoke question as the Encore question for two weeks in a row. That's where I'm at my worst. I own the album but I couldn't dictate word for word the lyrics of any of her songs. The lyrics are often similar. All the choices look good except maybe '5' and '2'. I start with '4' and then change to '3' thinking that makes more sense. I tell the others of my change and they follow me to that answer.

These were the first lines from the song. There's references to Bobby Womack and Babyface that I wouldn't have gotten either looking up the lyrics at home.
I'm wrong but still win as ROCKET with 25740 points. I earn 3000+ points for meeting the standard of 18000. Neither our bar score or individual scores are shown which is a surprise as the scores have shown for all other games. (I figured out on NTN.com listings that I would have been 478th in North America. Our bar would have been ranked 45th with a 24068 average out of 1664 bars).

I felt like I am wasting my time playing this game. I could have typed up a soccer game report for the other half of my web site instead of making notes about Mariah Carey--and another one in the time if I had not come out tonight. I had to drive across town to take my car from the hospital where I was visiting my father to park it in my driveway and then take the subway to the other side of town to get there to play. Still, it was nice to see my friends.
