Tonight I'm playing as ROCKET and LITBOX with Rob COSMO, Sean METLCA, Phil PLBAAB, and LeAnn LIZZY. We didn't receive too many distractions although the place was filling up with fans of the mixed marshall arts pay per view.
I've driven here directly from the hospital on the other side of town where I was visiting my father. There was a traffic jam caused by a RIDE (Reduced Impaired Driving Everywhere) so I realized I wouldn't be able to get home, drop off my car, and take the subway to this bar. I just drove directly to the bar and stuck to soft drinks for the night. The price of parking was more than my bar bill.

We go 10 for 10 in this round. I ended up calling out all the answers before the others. I did guess on '4'. I'd read the answer to '6' earlier today on a read through of the first half of Young's life on the bio in Wikipedia. '8' was a guess but it made sense as that was a group that Young formed earlier in his career as there was no link I could see with the other choices.
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual. The music is has really got loud setting up for the PPV broadcast. Have to yell for us to hear any suggestions for the answer.

I don't know this. I can't think of it. The brief time I was able to read through the Wikipedia article about Neil Young it mentioned that Young said it was Elvis Presley that inspired his wanting to be a musician. Rob gives us the answer and Phil agrees with him. Good enough for me.

Of course seeing the NTN Extra fact reminded me that I should have known the answer right away. I didn't get to the later part of the article about Young dedicating the album to Cobain. I'm glad my friends were here.
I read earlier in the day on Wikipedia that Neil Young was born in the Toronto General Hospital. I asked my father where I was born but with his condition he can't remember anymore. I should have that fact in a photo album somewhere but I'm pretty sure I was also born in the same hospital!
