NTN Encore Question of May 8th, 2010.
I wasn't playing this week. My friends played at The Frog & Firkin in North York, Ontario.

I was at a soccer game in the afternoon and stayed after that game for another team involving their academy team in another league that I follow. There will be many times I'll miss playing Playback on Saturdays until October is over.

I think I would have got this answer. Diana Ross (Supremes) and Brian Wilson (Beach Boys and not a Motown artist) were too involved in their groups to do any solo work in 1964. We just had a Headliner category possible choice about Marvin Gaye (turned out they picked Ray Charles) within the last few weeks but I didn't read anything about him being on a Beatles tour. I'd read about Smokey Robinson months earlier for another Headliner week and didn't read that either but he was with The Miracles during that time. Could I have narrowed that down in 30 seconds? I'm not sure.
I know The Beatles toured around 1962 around England with Americans Roy Orbison and I think Little Richard before they were really famous.
The Headliner category possibilities were too general to study and I don't know how I would have done in that round.
