I get five wrong this round for a pretty bad score. I didn't have time to read up on music since they announced the Headliners on Thursday. James Brown had hundreds of songs so I didn't bother making notes, Marvin Gaye I have a greatest hits album so just read the liner notes, and Ray Charles I had made notes of his songs months ago but didn't read them over earlier in the day. I have never seen the Jamie Foxx movie where he played Ray Charles. I have one Ray Charles greatest hits album and that might have 14 songs on it. My notes did get us '2' and '7' or it could have been worse.

I got '3' wrong which should have been easy--a very 1960's slang rather than I went with 'Hallelujah I Love Her So'. '4' I'd never heard his nickname. '5' I thought I'd reached for the right button but didn't look down. '6' Never heard it so went with 'Cryin Time'. '8' my friends got this right as the guy they'd never heard of but I went with Miles Davis. They got me '9' though.

Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual. If I miss it I won't get the standard but I won't be coming out for quite a few weeks.

I don't know this but start by picking the answers off after I go with what I think it was. I don't think he'd have anything to do with country music unless it was with oldies like Willie Nelson so it isn't '1'. Not going to the rapper '3'. Don't think it would be '4'. It would be down to '2' or '5'. I expected Norah Jones was more famous back in 2004 and Alicia Keys was just starting out [not good logic] and the fact that they linked his music to jazz which was Jones specialty and won so many Grammy's starting out [good logic]. My friends split to cover the right answer.

Correct Answer:....5. Norah Jones

[NTN Extra Fact:..."Here We Go Again" came from Charles' "Genius Loves Company" which won for Best Album.]

I'm right and move up one spot as both LITBOX and ROCKET with 37335 points. I earn 3000+ points for meeting the standard of 18000. The initial scores come up and have our top ten players all finishing 1st but on the second pass that had been changed but I didn't catch the scores. The bar finishes 9th in North America with a 38925 average. CHATZ wins with 45705.
(NTN.com lists 1849 bars playing).

I was somewhat surprised by how low the scores were this week but that could have happened with any of this week's Headline categories. I made sure on my way out I went over to congratulate Ron CHATZ for winning this week. Their group didn't have enough boards as I guess the bar continues to have broken playmakers that aren't replaced.

Here's how the rest of the bar did:
Player	preEncore	Final	Rank	ntn.com rank
CHATZ	30470	5	45705	---- 52
COSMO	28610	2	14305	---- 831
