Tonight I'm playing as ROCKET and LITBOX with Rob COSMO/METLCA and Phil PLBAAB. Rob's METLCA board dies during the Triviaoke round so we are limping along with four boards.

That's about the best I've ever done on this round. My friends were a bit behind because they waited until I was sure after seeing all the choices. Before the round both my friends admitted they knew nothing about Dave Matthews except they didn't like his music. Phil knew about the sewage dumping incident and they smoke a lot of dope. I could have filled in details of the death of Leroi Moore. Our server said she loved him but couldn't give us any answers. The guys had to listen to me pick out the choices. I have about half his albums that made the charts but I only found out through Wickipedia earlier in the day how much live stuff he has issued.
I get only five right and really couldn't build up bonus points in the round. It's the worst I've finished since they started the Headliner round last year. Only a +4000 this round. I was wrong guessing 2. Far Away, 4. Dancing Nancies, 6. Crash (not seeing Under The Table and Dreaming as a choice) 7. Paul Desmond, and 10. Blowing In The Wind. I lucky-guessed 8 right.
If I'd read through their EP list--Recently I would have got 4 and 10 correct.
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual.

I don't know this. I concentrate hard and think I've heard Dave Matthews sing Jack and Jill...mmm Yeah. I say it's that answer. Rob says he'll try something else so we have a chance of one of us being right. I can't argue as I'm not sure and can't go over to the bar and be sure to tell another player the right answer and get us to have a fifth player right.

Ron CHATZ came over before the scores came up to say how much he hates this band.
I went home and found my CD with this song. The way I was thinking of Dave Matthews saying that line was wrong
so I was lucky on guessing this or I've twisted the song tune around over the years. The song made #115 on the charts.
Since I always forget that I'm playing against so many other people in North America, I've got to remember that I really did have a good score.
