Tonight I'm playing with two boards as ROCKET and LITBOX with Rob COSMO, Sean METLCA, and Phil PLBAAB.

This was better than last week's all time low of +500 the whole round although I still sat out three questions this round. I must have got 5 right for 1000 and 2 wrong for -250 with 3 not answered for me to get +4500. I got help on one of the 1000 answers. I flipped through song titles but unless the first word of a song was hot or cold, I'd not have come across it. I finish with 8 right and 2 wrong but because I missed the 5th and 8th question, I couldn't roll up the bonus points very high. 5th was Billy Idol's Hot In The City mentions the city New York (not Los Angeles) and 8th Ryan Adams album is titled Cold Roses. We also had questions about Hot Streets being a Chicago album, Hot Fun In The Summertime was by Sly & The Family Stone, John Lennon being the ex-Beatle who sang 'Cold Turkey', and artist who did NOT play on Bruce Hornsby's 'Hot House' album and one I can't remember that I guessed at that was right. PLBAAB must have swept the round to finish so far ahead of us.
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual. I have about the same as last week.

I was dictating the question into my microrecorder but stop at about the fifth word to say the answer. The others know it too. It was pretty easy. Someone on the Buzztime message board had even mentioned the answer as a possible answer but not expecting it would be the usually tough Encore question. Maybe this was to make up for last week's super tough Encore question.

I'm right and stay in 3rd place as LITBOX with 52125. I earn 3000+ points for meeting the standard of 18000. I finish 30th overall in North America. The bar is 14th in North America with a 51654 average.

Our bar could have been in the top 10 but METLCA didn't place any bet so his score stayed the same. Phil wins as PLBAAB and is 4th on the Network Top 20 for all North America and 3rd on this bar's Hall of Fame.

I was given a scratch and win ticket because I ordered a pint of Moosehead beer and won a t-shirt. Rob doesn't drink that brand but ordered one and his scratch and win ticket also won him a t-shirt. Sean didn't win and my second beer didn't win either but that was a .500 winning average.
