CHATZ is still in lead. ..........LITBOX...16254/25000...4th/8...I take two -250s in the round which wasn't bad with the kind of game I was having so far. Opening Act...ROCKET...20289/35000...1st/8...LITBOX wins round. ................LITBOX...20254/35000...2nd/8. The pound-key round. I make 5 right for 1000, 0 right for 250 (2nd chance), 4 wrong for -250 and 1 I don't answer for 0 points. I had one more 'right' but the system counted me a split second late and I didn't notice before it had already passed through the second chance. Headliner...ROCKET...26289/56500...1st/8...my two win this round. ............LITBOX...26254/56500...2nd/8. BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN...I can't really build bonus points when I miss questions 4,5,6, and 8. I can't remember many of the questions but I do get he wrote "Fire" for Elvis Presley and Asbury Park was in New Jersey and the Nebraska album was a photo of an old dirt road. I'm not a real fan but own less than half his albums.
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual. I make sure my friends bet 50% instead of forgetting.

I've photocopied the page from my book for each of the possible categories for tonight. I was wondering if they'd ask for the third week in a row a question about "What song is/is not on what album?"....and apparently they are. Only thing is they dim the lights during this game, the printing is too small for me to read the page and I won't have enough time to read an alpha list of album cuts from albums sorted alphabetically. I'd need a flashlight and magnifying glass to do any good!
Rob offers the answer with about twenty out of thirty seconds left. I have only put this answer on my mental possibilities of 'don't know this song'. I own the "Born In The USA" album on cassette tape years ago and eventually replaced it on CD. This game will not favour those music fans who buy song by song from i-Tunes or only collect Greatest Hits albums. I have enough time to confirm that Rob is right with his choice.
I should have concentrated on the video clips I can remember from that era and would have got it as quickly as Rob.

The night didn't start too well as when I got here the game was switched to RaceDay. I didn't notice anyone playing after what seemed like an endless commercial so I switched the game to Buzztime. That really upset JEREMY I found out later. It is his favourite game. I've never seen that on here before. A few of the monitors were switched to NASCAR racing but that never happens when hockey season is on. Well....we're work something out next time. All I care about is the 9:00pm music game. They've reshuffled the games to move a 30 minute Countdown game to 10:00pm so I just left earlier than usual rather than stay the extra 15 minutes.
