A lot of the correct answers were the actual song title which means I didn't have to know the lyric. I must have got 5 right for 1000, 1 right for 250 (2nd chance), and 4 wrong for -250. Not a great score this week. I was in the zone. I take control of this round to make sure my friends have answered. We were disturbed many times by servers, busboys, etc during this game and I wanted to ensure we get a good score. Questions were all about the 1980s and I had no trouble. The Tiffany song in the Debbie Gibson songs, the lead singer of Soft Cell. I expect the toughest was a question about the English group The Style Council right in the middle of the questions which must have caused a lot of bars to have to start building their bonus points again. This must be my best category. I was young then and had more time for music. Glad much of it is committed to memory!
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual. I know it will be about 1980s Pop.

Easy! Rob knows it too. I've seen their video for this song. Michael Jackson did a lot of charity work but he wasn't in this project. None of the five choices were mentioned in the earlier ten headliner questions.

We had to move midgame because some people that will probably never be here again requested that the staff put on the hockey game. We had to wait for another table to open up and the dirty dishes be cleared so most of the game was lost.
