I can't see how I got this score unless I got 4 right for 1000, 1 right for 250 (2nd chance), and 5 wrong for -250. A tough round this week. THE ROLLING STONES...I figured I started with 3 right, then 2 wrong, then 4 right, then 1 wrong. Most of the questions were about songs matching albums although there was a question about which year a tour was in and who produced two of their albums.
Now the Encore betting comes up. Well 50% as usual. We know it's about The Rolling Stones. I hadn't studied anything about the groups that might have been the headliner this week but I'd say I'd know more about The Rolling Stones than The Who or Led Zeppelin.

This was easy! "Start Me Up" wasn't a choice but I have to make sure...Rob says the answer first using the argument that it wasn't out until the 1980s. Yep I can back that it didn't make #1. Maybe the song sounds old but that's because it was a cover from a 1960s song [by Bob & Earl in 1963]. Two guys from the other group that was playing pass us by before the correct answer is actually given. Well we're not going to win tonight!

I'm right and stay in 3rd place with both my boards at 45750. I finish 25th overall for all North America. After the game I went over to congratulate the other group. I figured Ron CHATZ was the brains of the group but he deflected the praise to Bill MADDOG as the guy who knew the group The Rolling Stones. Even though I won that round, I couldn't catch their big lead. Other games:...I start the evening with ROCKET at 4,281,200 and LITBOX at 1,962,300 Player's Plus points. These seemed like repeat games from two Saturdays ago but it didn't help my score as much as it should have.
