Tonight I'm playing with two boards as ROCKET and LITBOX with Rob COSMO, Sean METLCA, and Phil PLBAAB.
My game so far had gone like this: TuneUp...ROCKET...4500/5000...2nd/5...PLBAAB wins round with 5000. .............LITBOX...4500/5000...2nd/5...the rest of us get 4500. It was my fault for getting the Moonlight Sonata question wrong. I probably played that on the piano over 30 years ago. OnBeat...ROCKET...12500/14000...1st/5...my two and COSMO win with 8 out of 9. ............LITBOX...12500/14000...1st/5. Jukebox...ROCKET...18388/20000...2nd/5...LITBOX wins round. ............LITBOX...18394/20000...1st/5...COSMO's board conks out but he got a replacement by the next round and rejoins with his score instead of having to start again. Two very easy questions about 'Colorful Cars' which we called before the questions were even asked. Triviaoke...ROCKET...24417/28000...2nd/5...LITBOX wins round. .............LITBOX...24466/28000...1st/5...I take one -250s this round but Rob gets me two faster than I would have thought of them.
Now the Encore question comes up. Oh oh. We could be in trouble. Well it takes my mind off breaking off the back of a tooth eating supper before I got hear tonight.

Before the question was asked I said we'd have trouble if this question was something other than Neil Young's backing band (Crazy Horse) or Little Feat (which Phil had mentioned last year when he found some vinyl records in someone's garbage). As soon as the question was asked I knew the answer right away. It wasn't that I knew the group in the 1970s but it was a story a few months ago that Tom Petty played some jams with these old friends and they might release an album. I guess if I hadn't known this I'd have got it down to 50/50 because 'Train' is also a band of it's own so that would have left '3' and '5'.
