I wasn't playing this week. Thanks to Steven/SEKA for the recap. I drove downtown to watch the final game of the season for the MLS Toronto FC. After that I drove to see the CSL league semi-final playoff game between Toronto Croatia and St Catharines Roma Wolves. These games were bookended by two visits to see my mother in the hospital after suffering heart failure on Monday. Although visiting hours ended with enough time for me to barely get here, I was too exhausted.
I saw in the recap that I wouldn't have known half the questions in the OnBeat round so I wouldn't have made 20000 before the Encore.

I would have got this by process of elimination. I could see Steven/SEKA recap without peeking at the answer. First to go would be "Turning Japanese" which I heard years ago was supposed to be about masterbation. "American Idiot" is too new and I know the lyrics would be more likely considered anti-American. I then though of the video and lyrics for "Rock The Casbah" which were in a Middle East setting. "Whip It" has no lyrics mentioning Iranians and the Ramones songs I've never heard before.
